John 17:3 (HCSB) 3 This is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and the One You have sent—Jesus Christ.
John 17:3 (TS2009) Joh 17:3 “And this is everlasting life, that they should know You, the only true Elohim, and יהושע Messiah whom You have sent.
John 14:31 (HCSB) 31 On the contrary, I am going away[k] so that the world may know that I love the Father. Just as the Father commanded Me, so I do. “Get up; let’s leave this place.
John 14:31 (TS2009) Joh 14:31 but, in order for the world to know that I love the Father, and that as the Father commanded Me, so I am doing. Rise up, let us go from here.
From the moment that we are born into this world, we begin learning life. As we grow from an infant to an adult, we learn many principles, practices, and styles that make us who we are in this world. As we grow from an infant to an adult, we acquire different methods of thinking, we acquire different tastes, we acquire different philosophies, and we acquire a vision of what we want our life to be. As we grow from an infant to an adult, we learn, based upon this world, what is a bad life, what is a good life, what is a better life and what is the best life….or the perceived best life. From infancy to adulthood, the things that occur in our lives, sometimes good and sometimes bad, shape what we believe life is and how we believe life should be.
As we read the above listed verses, we see that The Savior is making a couple of profound statements. He is telling us what eternal life is and that The Father has commanded Him. The first statement is the foundation of what life is and what life is to be every day that we are afforded to have breath in our body. What is interesting in the second statement is that He is saying that The Father told Him, The Father instructed Him, The Father directed Him, The Father mandated Him, The Father ordered Him, and The Father charged Him. What is also interesting is that He does NOT say that The Father asked Him. Too many times this world teaches us about our position and our power, but this world does NOT teach us about The Father’s position and The Father’s power. If it truly taught us about The Father’s position and The Father’s power then it would follow the commands from The Father and it would always point us to The Father instead of pointing many of us away from The Father.
Family, we must begin to look into eternity – eternal life- to understand what this life is and what this life is not. We must begin to look into how it is that The Father expects for us to live life; by expectation I mean how it is HE is looking for us to wholeheartedly obey what HE has commanded us -> told us, instructed us, mandated us, ordered us and charged us as HIS representatives living life. When we learn eternal life and obedience to eternal life, then life will be different as we have been directed to WHO it is that we truly need in each and every situation, connected to WHO it is that is in control even when it looks like HE is not there, and protected by WHO is The Authority, The KING, The Power, and The Undefeated. Knowing, then understanding and finally applying eternal life in each and every aspect of our lives is what The Father desires for life. After all we are physically created in HIS image for HIS good pleasure. Please HIM by doing what HE has for you to do in life!
Salama, Shalom & Peace to the followers of The Lamb!

Note: TS2009 is the 2009 version of The Scriptures developed by Institute For Scripture Research (https://www.isr-messianic.org/). The Scriptures is a literal bible translation that utilizes the Masoretic letters and symbols for the true name of The Father and The Son (Messiah) without utilizing replacement titles or a position created by men. In order to minimize the debate over proper name enunciation, they have elected to utilize the theologically and historically accepted symbols for Their Names and have left the enunciation to the reader and/or student. They have also approached this translation from a Hebraic perspective in lieu of a Latinized, Greek, Roman, Greco-Roman, or Hellenized perspective. Why would I be led to introduce you (or some of you) to this method of translation?
Well, let’s go to The Scriptures for the answer – 1John 19:19-20 (HCSB) 19 Pilate also had a sign lettered and put on the cross. The inscription was: JESUS THE NAZARENE THE KING OF THE JEWS. 20 Many of the Jews read this sign, because the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and it was written in Hebrew,[f] Latin, and Greek; and 2Romans 3:1-2 (HCSB) 1 So what advantage does the Jew have? Or what is the benefit of circumcision? 2 Considerable in every way. First, they were entrusted with the spoken words of God.
If the Jews (Israelites) were entrusted with The Word of God and during the time that The Messiah walked in the flesh they spoke Hebrew (some will say they spoke Aramaic), then why would we not read, understand and apply The Scriptures the Hebraic spiritual, familial, cultural, linguistic, etymological, historical and generational context? After all, they were reminded in
Jeremiah 10:1-2 (HCSB) 1 Hear the word that the Lord has spoken to[a] you, house of Israel. 2 This is what the Lord says: Do not learn the way of the nations or be terrified by signs in the heavens,
although the nations are terrified by them,
